In Chambers and Partners’ recently launched Asia-Pacific 2024 Guide, Moulis Legal’s International Trade team astutely looks at the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP).

Promising to become the world’s most valuable plurilateral agreement, the eleven-member CPTPP is a trading bloc of 580 million consumers covering 15.6% of global GDP. The treaty addresses important topics which are not dealt with either adequately or at all in the WTO agreements, giving real hope for positive improvements amongst like-minded countries.
