Moulis Legal is pleased to announce the appointment of Zarmina Nasir as chief executive officer.

Ms Nasir extends the capabilities of Moulis Legal with her vast experience in governance and management, and a deep understanding of global challenges, the regulatory environments that opposingly impede and assist change, and the relationships between business and professional service providers operating across these landscapes.

Under Ms Nasir’s leadership, Moulis Legal will further advance its mission of delivering legal services at the highest level, on a personal basis, and with sensitivity and commitment to clients nationally and throughout the world.

With over 20 years’ experience across diverse cultural, business and NGO settings, Ms Nasir joins Moulis Legal following her time as Director, Gender Norms, Investing in Women (a Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade program), where she spearheaded gender norm campaigns and advanced economic empowerment outcomes.

Ms Nasir has held roles within ROTA (Qatar Foundation/ Education Above All) and GHD (transport carbon emissions and water supply projects). She has built important relationships with some of the world’s most renowned philanthropic and environmental organisations, including Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, FC Barcelona Foundation, and UNICEF.

We are delighted to welcome such a highly accomplished and distinguished leader to Moulis Legal. Our clients, our people, and the firm as whole will benefit greatly from Ms Nasir’s understanding of global issues and regulatory landscapes, as well as her partnership management, policy and strategy development experience, said partner director and founder Daniel Moulis.

Ms Nasir takes the reins from former CEO Suzanne Moulis, whose expertise in corporate governance, driving business performance, and strategy proved pivotal to diversifying and scaling Moulis Legal and setting the firm’s course into the future.

It’s a privilege to join this progressive national and international legal practice, which has such broad reach and cross border impact. I hope to expand on the firm’s successes and usher Moulis Legal into its next business evolution, said Ms Nasir.

In addition to the credentials mentioned, Ms Nasir has an impressive academic background, with a Bachelor of Arts from Linfield College in Oregon and a masters with high distinction in Public Policy from Canberra’s Australian National University. Through her work on gender and NGO emergency response, Ms Nasir has been an invited guest lecturer at Georgetown University and, on multiple occasions, at the ANU.
