Government regulation intrudes into business affairs at many levels. For many companies, a lack of awareness of environmental, health, trade, workplace, financial or corporate rules has proven to be an expensive mistake.

In other cases, the mistake is to be found in the implementation of the government’s own laws and regulations or in the unreasonable exercise of administrative discretions. Industry leaders and NGOs seek to sway policy and change the rules.

We call this the private/public interface. Moulis Legal is active in assisting its clients to deal with these regulatory issues. Our services include legal analysis and advice to enable representations to be made to government about regulations, challenges against administrative action which damages our clients’ commercial interests, and representation in commissions of inquiry.
